About me...

I began my modern flute studies at the age of 8 years old in Tenerife, where I have finished with Cum Laude (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias 2007). During this period I have played as guest soloist in the Canary Islands Young Talents Festival and I was part of the Tenerife Symphonic Orchestral Academy for 7 years, where I learned the basics of orchestral practice, thanks to the soloists from this Orchestra (Hyeri Yoon as flute teacher).

After, I had the opportunity to go to Paris to do a Cycle Supérieur with Philippe Lesgourgues and Vicens Prats (solo flute from Paris Orchestra) and I did a Cycle Spécialisé in piccolo with one of my best teachers Pierre Dumail (piccolo solo from L’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris). During my period in Paris I was guest soloist with Allegro Orchestra for two times and with the piccolo with L’Orchestre d’Harmonie de Saint Maur des Fossés.

I have received numerous masterclasses from different flutists as: János Bálint (MusicHochschule Detmold during one year), Trevor Wye, Claude Lefebvre, Robert Winn, Jaime Martín, Julia Gallego, Magdalena Martínez, Emily Beynon, Vincent Corvrint, Kersten McKall (last three from Royal Concertgebouw Orkest, Amsterdam).

In 2010 I won the second prize in piccolo speciality in the Young Flutist International Competition in Paris.

I have worked with Orchestras as MusicAeterna - Teodor Currentzis (Saint Petersburg 2021, 2019), Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht (2014-2021), Orchestre Pas de Loup (Paris 2017),  Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife (2023, 2012, 2004-2007), Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria (2009), Orquesta de Cámara de Tenerife (2009), Tenerife Film Music Orchestra (2009, 2008)

From 2010, I started to specialize in historical flutes with Marten Root in Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been also coached by such a great professionals as Richard Egarr, Jed Wentz, Karl Kaizer, Marc Hantaï, Lisa Beznosiuk, Rachel Brown, Frank Theuns, Jan de Winne, Alfredo Bernardini, Teunis van der Zwart, Walter van Hauwe, Menno van Delft, Sophie Gent among others. I own a Bachelor degree in baroque flute and a Master degree in classical & romantic flutes in Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I am glad to have been part of The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment Academy in London for the year 2014 with conductors as Sir Simon Rattle and I have been selected  as well as the Young Talent 2015 for the Bach Dag, organized by the Oude Muziek Festival in Utrecht.

Today I am part of Ensemble Pygmalion in Paris and I continue being a freelancer with other orchestras and ensembles with modern and historical flutes.
