Les Vestales trio emerged within the walls of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where Jeanne Jourquin (harpsichord), Salomé Gasselin (viola da gamba) and Raquel Martorell (traverso) met each other with a common goal: transmit poetry that is music in such a beautiful language that are our period instruments. These French speakers, passionate by French and actually any style, give their own expression to all music from the baroque period.
This quality can be reflected already in their careers, performing with important Orchestras and Ensembles, such as: Nederlandse Bach Vereniging Orkest, Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht Orkest, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Holland Baroque Society, Ensemble Pygmalion, Capriccio Stravagante, among others. And they have participated each one as well in important Festivals as Fringe artists: Utrecht Early Music Festival (as fabulous fringe), MA Festival in Brugge, Bach Dag Young Talent 2015 in Utrecht & Amsterdam, etc.
